MEDIA DAY: A look back at our ambassadors’ visit to Doha

MEDIA DAY: RONNIE AND YACINE BRAHIMI RETURN TO DOHA

From December 15 to 18, the Footsider management committee was present in Doha for its Media Day. The objective of this day was simple: to promote the launch of our application Footsider, the “LinkedIn of soccer”, which is defined as a platform for connecting players and clubs. As such, the Footsider team was hosted by the Al-Gharafa S.C. club, where they were able to hold a press conference.

VISIT TO THE CLUB OF AL-GHARAFA S.C

Shortly after arriving in Qatar, Footsider’s board of directors first headed to the premises of Al-Gharafa S.C., the club where one of our co-founders, Yacine Brahimi, is currently playing, gave our team a memorable welcome. For the occasion, the latter went through the club premises as a contractor and not as a player. After a few photos, in the presence of the Prince of Qatar, a press conference was held to explain in more detail the ins and outs of this social project. Following this, our ambassadors were able to give a few interviews to French and local media, in order to democratize the Footsider application, its social aspect, its values and the different features it offers.

RONALDINHO AND HIS OPINION ON THE FINAL

While in Qatar for a few days, our co-founder Ronaldinho also gave a few interviews to various French and local media. He shared his opinion on Argentina, Messi, the French team and Kylian Mbappé. The Brazilian legend held very complimentary words towards the young French prodigy, but also towards his friend Lionel Messi. Not taking sides in this final, he also highlighted the talent and impressive work done by Didier Deschamps since his debut at the head of the French team.
